“新亚洲”（XIN YA ZHOU）是中国首艘自主设计建造的 8530TEU超大型集装箱船，由中船集团设计、沪东中华建造，2007年交付，隶属中远海运集运，中国籍船旗。总长335米、型宽42.8米、型深24.8米，载重吨102395，设计吃水13 米，航速25节，入级CCS。载箱量8530标准箱，为当时国内最大集装箱船，集成高效动力与智能货控系统，兼具高载量与低油耗优势。2024年曾完成国内最大单船生物燃料加注，助力绿色航运转型。它的建成，标志中国超大型集装箱船设计建造能力跻身世界前列。

XIN YA ZHOU is China’s first independently designed and built 8,530 TEU ultra-large container vessel (ULCV). Designed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and constructed by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, it was delivered in 2007 and operated by COSCO Shipping Lines under the flag of China.

The ship has an overall length of 335 meters, a moulded breadth of 42.8 meters, a moulded depth of 24.8 meters, a deadweight tonnage of 102,395 tons, a design draught of 13 meters and a service speed of 25 knots, classified by China Classification Society (CCS).

With a container capacity of 8,530 twenty-foot equivalent units, it ranked as the largest container ship built in China at that time. Equipped with high-efficiency propulsion and intelligent cargo control systems, it delivers outstanding advantages of large loading capacity and low fuel consumption.

In 2024, it completed China’s largest single-vessel biofuel bunkering operation, boosting the transition toward green shipping. Its construction marked that China’s capability in designing and building ultra-large container vessels had reached a world-leading level.
