CSC 长江之珠（CSC Yangtze Pearl）是中国首艘拥有自主知识产权的29.7万吨级VLCC超大型原油轮，由中船708所设计、江南长兴造船建造，2008年交付，隶属长航南京油运，船旗香港。总长330米、型宽60米、型深29.7米，载重吨 297395，吃水19.2米，航速15.8节，续航力 28000 海里。入级CCS与ABS双船级，采用双壳保护、低硫燃油舱等设计，日均油耗91吨，达国际先进水平。作为上海开埠以来建造的最大油轮，它标志中国具备自主设计建造30万吨级 VLCC 的能力，支撑“国油国运”战略。
CSC Yangtze Pearl is China’s first 297,000 DWT VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) with fully independent intellectual property rights. Designed by CSSC 708 Research Institute and built by Jiangnan Changxing Shipbuilding, the tanker was delivered in 2008 and operated by Nanjing Changhang Oil Transportation under the Hong Kong flag.
It features an overall length of 330 meters, a moulded breadth of 60 meters, a moulded depth of 29.7 meters, a deadweight tonnage of 297,395 metric tons, a draught of 19.2 meters, and a service speed of 15.8 knots, with an endurance range of 28,000 nautical miles.
Dual-classed by China Classification Society (CCS) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), it adopts double-hull protection, low-sulfur fuel oil tanks and other optimized designs. Its daily fuel consumption stands at 91 metric tons, reaching internationally advanced standards.
As the largest oil tanker constructed in Shanghai since the opening of the port, its completion signifies that China has mastered the capacity to independently design and build 300,000-tonne VLCCs, underpinning the national strategy of “domestic crude oil transported by domestic fleets”.
