“中山大学”号是中国设计排水量最大、综合科考性能最强的海洋综合科考实习船，2021年交付，母港珠海。船长 114.3米、型宽19.4米，排水量6880吨，续航力15000海里，可全球无限航区航行，自持力60天，定员100人。蓝白涂装，国内首次采用L型全回转低噪声推进器与直流母排+储能蓄电池设计，水下静音性能优异。配备720㎡实验室与先进探测设备，可开展从万米高空到深海的多学科综合科考，兼具科研与人才培养功能，是我国深远海科考的核心平台。

SYU Zhongshan University is China’s comprehensive ocean research and training vessel with the largest designed displacement and strongest comprehensive scientific research performance. Delivered in 2021, it takes Zhuhai as its home port.

The ship has an overall length of 114.3 meters, a moulded breadth of 19.4 meters and a displacement of 6,880 tons. It features an endurance range of 15,000 nautical miles, unrestricted global navigation capability, a self-sustaining period of 60 days and accommodation for 100 personnel.

Painted in blue and white livery, it adopts domestically pioneering L-shaped full-revolving low-noise thrusters as well as a DC busbar plus energy storage battery system, delivering outstanding underwater quietness.

Equipped with 720 square meters of laboratory space and sophisticated surveying equipment, it supports multidisciplinary integrated scientific investigations spanning from ten-thousand-meter altitudes down to deep seas. Integrating scientific research and talent cultivation missions, it acts as a core platform for China’s deep and far-sea oceanographic expeditions.
